Please put midday on Sunday, July 17 in your diaries! That’s the date for the Hornton Jubilee Photograph.
After the bad weather stopped us from taking the photograph on the day of the Jubilee Street Party, the Parish Council have decided that we should try to take it again.
All you have to do is to turn up around the flagpole on the village green with your whole family at midday on July 17 – and preferably dressed in red, white or blue… or, for really patriotic Horntonians, red, white AND blue! But if red, white and blue aren’t your colours, just come along anyway.
There’s only one qualification – that you regard yourself as a Horntonian – and that definitely includes pets. When we last had a village photograph, we had lots of dogs and even a horse in the picture. All two and four-legged Horntonians are very welcome this time!
