Everyone in Hornton School will be are stepping it out in their own “mini marathon”.
“It will not be 26.2 miles but we will be challenging ourselves to run a mile – everyone is going to take part including staff!” says head teacher Wendy Whitehouse. “We would like to raise money for specific areas in the school.
“In Peach Tree and Orchard Class, the children will be raising money for a new reading shelter. Oak Class are busy planning their Maths Garden and would love additional funds for new equipment.
“In Willow Class, the children would like to replace their brown old carpet with something more cheerful. Mr Runcorn has asked if his class could raise money for additional books for their class library.”
