The pupils at Hornton School made the phrase Lest We Forget really count this year when they raised a “massive” £161 for the British Legion Poppy Appeal.
The fund-raising effort was extra special because it marked 100 years of the Royal British Legion.
“We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for helping make this year’s Poppy Appeal such a success,” said staff.
