To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this year, the Parish Council
are sponsoring a street party along West End for the whole village to
attend at lunchtime on Sunday, 5 June as part of the “Big Jubilee Lunch”
taking place across the UK.
Councillor Steve Yates has volunteered to co-ordinate the street party
and would very much like this to be a community event, so please email
Steve (cllr.yates@hornton-pc.org.uk) with any ideas you may have for the
street party or if you would like to suggest any other
events/celebrations that could be held over the four day holiday. Also
Steve would like to set up an organising and planning committee made up
of members of the village so if you would like to get involved and help
please let Steve know.
