Everyone is invited to the next talk staged by Hornton History Group, which will be given in the parish church on November 10 by a member of TV’s time Team, Keith Westcott.
It’s all about the huge Roman villa unearthed in the grounds of Broughton Castle.
“Keith started out as a diving detectorist, leading on to important discoveries of national significance,” says HHG’s Laurie Furneaux. “Television’s Time Team have got involved with the Broughton excavation, so we’ll get an early take on the findings with this talk.”
