It’s the end of an era for Ian and Isabelle Harris – and for Hornton.
“We have organised the Maypole Dancing for May Day for the last 34 years
and are planning it again this year but we are looking for someone to
assist to see how it works with a view to taking over the training of
the children in future years,” says Ian. “It usually involves contacting
the school to recruit the children and then as little as three practice
sessions prior to performing on the day. If you’re interested please
