The village’s traditional carol singing will take place a fortnight on Wednesday – December 21. As usual, the singers will be collecting for Cancer Research and you can join them if you go along to the pavilion at 6pm on the night.
Don’t worry if you can’t sing – you can rattle a can instead! Or you can just supply a generous supply of cash, mince pies and hot toddies when the singers knock on your door. They aim to visit each house but if you are out or away, you are welcome to give a contribution in advance to Ian Harris at Bellevue in Bell Street.
