Could you spare a couple of hours a week to come into Hornton School and read with the children?
If so, new head teacher Wendy Whitehouse would like to hear from you!
“We would love to be able to offer every child in the school an opportunity to read to an adult each week,” she says. “To ensure we are Covid secure we will make sure that you only read with your child’s class. Training will be provided.”
There will also be a full background check carried out on all volunteers through the Government’s Disclosure and Barring Service.
