Despite a wet and blustery night in the week before Christmas, Hornton’s carol singers managed to raise £360 for charity.
The money will go to Cancer research UK and organiser Ian Harris paid tribute to everyone who took part.
“Thanks to singers, collectors, refreshment providers – including the Dun Cow – and to the generosity of residents,” he said.
