Parish Council Elections will be taking place this May and if you wish to stand for election as a Parish Councillor for Hornton please email clerk@hornton-pc.org.uk for a Nomination Pack.
You will need to submit your Nomination between 10am on Tuesday, 29 March until 4pm Tuesday, 5 April at Bodicote House.
CRITERIA FOR STANDING AS A PARISH COUNCILLOR
Candidates must fit at least one of the following criteria:
- On the Electoral Register (i.e. registered to vote) for the parish;
- Have occupied as owner or tenant any land or other premises in the parish/community area over the last 12 months;
- Lived within 3 miles of the parish over the last 12 months;
- Principal place of work is in the parish and has been for at least 12 months.
