Hornton History Talk
April 14 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm
£5
If you ever wondered what the Roman ever did for us, pop along to Hornton Pavilion at 7.30pm on Thursday, April 14th and you’ll find out.
That is when Civil and Structural Engineer, Andrew Baxter, will give a fascinating talk about his research into the Pont du Gard, an amazing three-storey aqueduct built by the Roman 2000 years ago to supply water to the city of Nimes in France. It’s now a UNESCO World Heritage site in France.
Andrew is a really engaging speaker so his talk, hosted by Hornton History Group, is not to be missed. The £5 entry fee will include a glass of wine.
